1. Pets age faster than people
2. Taking your cat or dog to your vet once a year would be the equivalent of a person only going to the doctor every 5-7 years after they turn 50
3. Simple physical exams and routine BLOOD WORK can detect diseases and manage or even cure these disease if caught early
